This Privacy Policy explains how Shinetech Software Inc. ("Shinetech," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit shinetechsoftware.com, submit a business inquiry, or otherwise interact with this website.
This Policy applies to the U.S. website and related marketing interactions. It does not govern personal information that Shinetech processes on a client's behalf while delivering software development services. That processing is governed by the applicable client agreement, statement of work, data processing agreement, and the client's instructions. If another Shinetech affiliate is identified as the contracting party, that affiliate's notice or contract may also apply.
1. Who Is Responsible for Your Information
For the website activities described in this Policy, Shinetech Software Inc. is generally the business or controller responsible for deciding why and how personal information is processed.

2. Information We Collect
Information you provide
When you contact us or submit an inquiry, we may collect your name, business email address, telephone number, company, project description, and the contents of your communications. Please do not submit passwords, payment card information, health information, government identifiers, or other sensitive information through a public inquiry form.
When you submit a website form, the submission also includes the page URL, page title, and any available advertising click identifier. To validate the request and protect our forms, we or our service providers may also process the submission date and time, IP address, and a Google reCAPTCHA token. We use this information to understand the context of the inquiry, prevent spam and automated abuse, troubleshoot delivery, and maintain website security.
Information collected automatically
When you use the website, we and our technology providers may collect IP address, browser and device information, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, interactions with website content, cookie or similar identifiers, and advertising click identifiers such as a Google Click ID.
Information from other sources
We may receive limited business contact, referral, campaign, or interaction information from Shinetech affiliates, analytics and advertising providers, or a source that directed you to our website.
3. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to:
- respond to inquiries, assess project requirements, schedule conversations, and take steps toward a possible business relationship;
- operate, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the website and inquiry forms;
- understand website use, content performance, and campaign effectiveness;
- measure and improve advertising, perform conversion matching, create business audiences, and communicate about relevant services, subject to applicable law;
- prevent spam, fraud, misuse, and security incidents;
- comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and establish or defend legal claims; and
- support a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
Where a law such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation or UK GDPR requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following:
- Steps before a contract or performance of a contract, such as responding to a request for services;
- Legitimate interests, such as operating and securing the website, responding to business communications, understanding website performance, and developing our business, balanced against your rights;
- Consent, where consent is required for a particular communication, cookie, or similar technology; and
- Legal obligations, including compliance, recordkeeping, and responses to lawful requests.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The website uses cookies, local storage, tags, and similar technologies for website operation, security, analytics, advertising, and measurement. Technologies currently used on the site may include:
- Cookiebot to collect and store cookie choices and provide information about cookies and similar technologies;
- Google Tag Manager to deploy and manage website tags;
- Google Analytics and Matomo to understand website traffic and use;
- Google Ads, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, and OpenAI Ads measurement to attribute visits or inquiries, measure campaigns, and support business advertising;
- Google reCAPTCHA to protect forms from spam and abuse; and
- local storage used to preserve an advertising click identifier. The current website implementation is designed to expire a stored Google Click ID after up to 90 days.
Conversion matching. After a form is successfully submitted, the website creates a conversion event. The business email address you provided is passed through the website's tag-management data layer and may be held temporarily in your browser's session storage so that the thank-you page can complete the measurement process. When a configured advertising tag uses the address for supported conversion matching, the address may be normalized and transformed into a one-way hashed value to help determine whether the inquiry followed an ad interaction, avoid duplicate conversion records, and report campaign performance. The session-storage value is removed after it is read on the thank-you page. A hashed identifier may still be personal information under applicable law.
These providers may process identifiers, device and network information, page activity, campaign information, conversion events, and, where conversion matching is enabled, protected business contact identifiers under their own terms and privacy notices. Google reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
You can restrict cookies through your browser settings and use the privacy or advertising controls offered by the relevant provider. Blocking some technologies may affect website features or measurement. You can review, change, or withdraw your cookie choices at any time through the Cookie Declaration below or the Cookie Settings link in the website footer. Where applicable law gives you a right to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, you may also submit a request using the contact details below.

6. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose personal information to:
- Shinetech affiliates when needed to respond to an inquiry, coordinate expertise, or operate our business;
- service providers supporting hosting, security, form handling, communications, customer relationship management, analytics, advertising, and professional services;
- analytics and advertising platforms described above, which may use the information under their own privacy terms;
- authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, systems, or users;
- transaction participants in connection with a proposed or completed corporate transaction; and
- another party when you direct us or provide consent.
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, disclosures involving advertising cookies or identifiers may be treated as a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising under certain U.S. state privacy laws.
7. International Data Transfers
Shinetech operates internationally, and our providers also operate in multiple countries. Personal information may therefore be accessed or processed in the United States and in other countries where Shinetech affiliates or service providers operate. Privacy protections in those countries may differ from those in your location. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism or additional safeguards, we assess and apply an available lawful mechanism appropriate to the transfer.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. The period depends on the nature of the information, the status of a business inquiry or relationship, security needs, applicable limitation periods, and legal, tax, accounting, or recordkeeping requirements. When information is no longer required, we delete it, anonymize it, or place it beyond active use where immediate deletion is not reasonably possible. Provider-controlled cookies and records may follow the provider's retention settings and policies.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to request access to personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or a portable copy; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. You may also have the right to appeal a decision on a request.
If you are in the EEA or UK, you may complain to the data protection authority in your country. If you are covered by a U.S. state privacy law, you may use an authorized agent where permitted, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
To exercise a right, email salesus@shinetechsoftware.com with the subject "Privacy Request." Tell us the right you wish to exercise and the state or country in which you reside. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. We will use information submitted with a request only to verify and respond to it.
11. Children
This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the website. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
12. Third-Party Websites
The website may link to websites, platforms, or social media services that Shinetech does not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and we encourage you to review them before providing information.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, services, or legal requirements. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Where required, we will provide additional notice.
